Following exhibitions in 2016, 2018, and 2019, the Laurentin Gallery had presented a double tribute to Geneviève Asse at the end of 2020. These exhibitions was exceptional both in terms of their sizes, with small-format works as well as very large canvases worthy of museums, and in terms of their scope, as a few days after the opening in Paris, another equally important exhibition has open in our Brussels gallery.

This double tribute to this timeless artist allowed  us to present around a hundred works.

 

Geneviève Asse's blues are spiritual windows that encourage contemplation and lead us to serenity.

These blues are notably reminiscent of the landscapes of her native Brittany, a clear and luminous vision, sometimes covered with a light gray, green, or white veil.
